Hyundai Cars Ireland Ltd wish to announce the retirement of Sam Synnott, as Managing Director, at the end of this year.
Sam Synnott has been a fundamental part of the Hyundai operation and has played a key role in its success, on the Irish Market, over the last 15 years.
Hyundai wish to announce the appointment of Stephen Gleeson as Managing Director. Gleeson joined Hyundai as Financial Controller in 1994, following the successful acquisition of the Franchise, and in 2006 was promoted to the position of Finance Director.
According to Stephen Gleeson "It is great to be taking over the post of Managing Director at a time when Hyundai are riding the crest of a wave and have been the best performing manufacturer in Europe this year".
"In Ireland, Hyundai is heading into 2010 with confidence based on our seriously competitive value proposition outlined in the current marketing campaign 'Drive Hyundai or be Driven Mad'".
Hyundai also wish to announce the appointment of Peadar Bruton ( A.C.A) as Financial Controller. Bruton joins Hyundai Cars, from Smith and Williamson Freaney, one of Irelands leading Accountancy firms, where he has served in the Audit division for the last 8 years and brings a wealth of commercial experience.
